Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers and Designers with day-to-day project coordination and administrative support.
  • Set up new project files and maintain organized project documentation, reports, and logs.
  • Prepare, submit, and track submittals, RFIs, and other project-related documentation.
  • Obtain vendor pricing, prepare purchase orders, and track material orders.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and communicate updates with vendors, field teams, and internal staff.
  • Track permits, jurisdiction requirements, and other compliance-related items.
  • Maintain project schedules, status updates, and change order logs.
  • Support project closeout by organizing final documentation, test reports, placards, and required paperwork.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively with project managers, designers, vendors, field personnel, and customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications.
  • Ability to track and follow up on multiple moving parts of a project, including purchasing, permits, and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

 

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree, technical training, or coursework in business, construction, or project management strongly preferred.

 

Pay Range

  • $20/hr-$30/hr depending on experience and abilities
