We are currently seeking a Vice President, Sales and Marketing!

The Vice President of Sales and Marketing is responsible for setting and executing the revenue growth strategy for UB West as a member of the UB West senior leadership team, reporting to the CEO. This role leads new-business acquisition and expansion across the region, builds and manages a high-performing sales organization, and owns the marketing strategy and execution required to generate demand, strengthen brand positioning, and enable sales success. The VP ensures forecasting discipline, sales process rigor, and performance management, while aligning go-to-market messaging, campaigns, and content to deliver scalable, repeatable growth.

Responsibilities include:

Executive Leadership & Revenue Strategy

  • Define and execute the UB West sales strategy to achieve annual and multi-year revenue targets.
  • Lead, coach, and scale the sales team (leaders and individual contributors) with clear expectations, coaching cadence, and accountability.
  • Establish go-to-market plans by market/segment, including ideal customer profile, value proposition, pricing guardrails, and competitive positioning.
  • Own executive-level deal strategy, approvals, and escalations to close complex opportunities and protect margin and terms.

Sales Execution & Pipeline Management

  • Own end-to-end sales process from prospecting through contract signature, ensuring consistent stage definitions and exit criteria.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline with clear coverage requirements and quarterly pacing to target.
  • Establish forecasting rigor (weekly/monthly cadence), pipeline inspection, and data quality expectations in the CRM.

Market Development, Brand & Partnerships

  • Own UB West go-to-market strategy and market segmentation, including ideal customer profile, positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation.
  • Lead demand generation strategy and campaign execution (inbound and outbound), aligning programs to sales territories and quarterly pipeline goals.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships and targeted events to increase qualified opportunities, including content strategy, case studies, and sales enablement materials.

Marketing Leadership & Operations

  • Build and manage the UB West marketing function (internal and/or external partners), including budget, priorities, and campaign calendar.
  • Own the marketing funnel and measurement framework (leads, MQL/SQL, conversion, CAC), continuously optimizing for pipeline quality and ROI.
  • Oversee brand and communications standards for UB West across web, collateral, presentations, and proposals to ensure consistency and credibility.
  • Partner with Sales to deliver enablement materials, messaging frameworks, and account-based marketing support for priority targets.

Deal Structuring & Commercial Excellence

  • Lead pricing, proposal, and contract strategy to align customer needs with UB West operating model, risk tolerance, and margin goals.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Operations to negotiate terms, ensure accurate scope definition, and reduce downstream delivery friction.
  • Maintain and improve sales playbooks, win/loss insights, and competitive intelligence to increase conversion rates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Operations, Implementation, Finance, and Client Success to ensure seamless sales-to-implementation handoff and strong customer outcomes.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for key accounts and strategic opportunities, leading escalations and relationship management as needed.

Client & Stakeholder Experience

  • Lead executive customer discovery to understand needs, decision processes, and success criteria across targeted property portfolios.
  • Maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders at prospects and clients to support renewals, expansions, and retention.
  • Ensure proposals and presentations clearly articulate ROI, implementation approach, and ongoing service model.
  • Drive a disciplined handoff process and remain engaged through early lifecycle to support adoption and referenceability.

Team Development & Culture

  • Hire, develop, and retain top sales talent; establish onboarding, enablement, and ongoing coaching programs.
  • Create a performance culture with clear activity standards, pipeline expectations, and transparent goal tracking.
  • Model collaboration, integrity, and customer focus while driving urgency, accountability, and results.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated senior sales leadership experience with consistent achievement of revenue targets (B2B preferred).
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and scale sales teams, including recruiting, enablement, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strong command of enterprise sales process, pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
  • Experience leading marketing and demand generation efforts, including campaign strategy, messaging, performance measurement, and budget management.
  • Experience selling solutions into property management, multifamily housing, utilities, or adjacent B2B services is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success navigating complex stakeholder environments and closing multi-threaded, contract-driven deals.

 

Compensation: Full-Time $125,000.00 to $175,000.00 per year
