ERP  ANALYST -  Englewood, Colorado  |  Full-Time, In-Office  |  $80,000 – $120,000

Mears Group is hiring an ERP Analyst to support, maintain, and help optimize our Spectrum ERP environment. This is a junior-to-mid-level role ideal for someone who has solid SQL skills, understands core ERP business processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, job costing), and wants to grow into deeper system expertise within a construction and infrastructure company. You’ll work closely with IT and business teams to troubleshoot issues, maintain data accuracy, build reports, and support integrations. Prior Spectrum experience is a plus but not required—we’ll invest in getting you up to speed on our platform.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

  • Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting, data analysis, and troubleshooting using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • Troubleshoot ERP application, data, and integration issues through root-cause analysis
  • Maintain ERP data accuracy through regular monitoring, validation, and updates
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into ERP configurations or process improvements
  • Support ERP workflows and integrations across departments (finance, operations, project management)
  • Participate in system testing and quality assurance for updates, patches, and new functionality
  • Document processes, system configurations, data mappings, and integration workflows
  • Generate reports and perform data analysis to support business decision-making
  • Provide end-user support and training on ERP functionality
  • All other duties assigned

 KEY QUALIFICATIONS: 

Required: 

  • 2–4 years of experience working with or supporting an ERP system in a business environment
  • Strong SQL skills — comfortable writing queries, working with stored procedures, views, and data transformations in SSMS
  • Understanding of core ERP business processes: order-to-cash, accounts payable/receivable, procurement, or job costing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to do root-cause analysis
  • Clear communication skills — you can explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Preferred: 

  • Experience with Spectrum ERP or other construction/project-based ERP platforms
  • Familiarity with SSIS for data integration and ETL processes
  • Exposure to APIs and integration concepts (REST, webhooks)
  • PowerShell scripting experience
  • BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (equivalent experience accepted)

  • The physical activity and work environment required for this role includes:
  • Sitting, standing, walking for extended periods in an office environment
  • Occasionally stooping, climbing, bending and reaching
  • Manual dexterity for computer use, files and office equipment
  • Occasionally lifting office equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
