Electrical Project Manager

Full-Time  |  Scottsdale, AZ  |  In-Person + Jobsite

Who We Are

Jenco is a well-established, family-founded electrical contracting company based in Scottsdale, Arizona — and now part of a growing national electrical contracting platform. For over 34 years we have been powering commercial and industrial projects across the Phoenix metro and beyond, ranging from $150 service calls to $20M+ complex, multi-phase builds.

We are a learning organization. Your growth matters here as much as the project does. Through Jenco University and a culture built on meaningful work and meaningful relationships, we develop people who lead - not just manage.

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager to own the full lifecycle of commercial and industrial electrical construction projects, from contract award through final closeout. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and field teams, and you will have direct responsibility for keeping projects on schedule, on budget, and built right.

This is a high-visibility role with a clear path to Senior Project Manager and beyond. You will work alongside experienced leadership and have the support structure, tools, and training to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical construction projects from award to closeout across commercial and industrial scopes
  • Maintain full ownership of project budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and client communication
  • Drive project profitability — monitor costs, identify variances early, and take corrective action
  • Uphold Jenco’s safety and quality standards on every project, every day
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with general contractors, developers, and owners to generate repeat business
  • Collaborate with estimating, field supervision, and operations to ensure seamless project execution
  • Prepare and present project status updates, change orders, and closeout documentation

    Our Ideal Candidate

  • 3–5 years of project management experience in commercial electrical, electrical construction, or industrial electrical projects
  • Strong financial and project cost management skills - you understand a budget and own it
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities; clients and crews alike trust your follow-through
  • Working knowledge of jobsite safety practices and requirements
  • Eager to grow - you want to learn the trade more deeply and advance your career
  • Positive, team-first attitude; you make the people around you better
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and obtain fingerprint clearance/badging as required

    Preferred (Not Required)

  • Exposure to electrical estimating processes & tools
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Viewpoint Vista, Procore, or similar construction software
  • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local AHJ requirements

    Why Join Jenco

  • Strong project backlog with consistent work and growing opportunity
  • Be part of an established electrical contractor platform with the resources of a national company and the culture of a local team
  • Leadership visibility — your work is seen, your contributions recognized
  • A learning organization that invests in your development through Jenco University and formal career planning

Our Offer

  • Competitive salary, paid weekly
  • 401k with company match
  • Vehicle & cell phone allowance
  • Performance feedback & formal reviews
  • Eligible for benefits on your first day of employment
  • Medical, Dental, Vision & Voluntary Insurances
