What You'll Do
As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you'll work alongside experienced inspectors while learning how to inspect, test, and document fire sprinkler and life safety systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with inspections of fire sprinkler systems and related equipment
- Learning NFPA standards and local code requirements
- Performing basic testing procedures under supervision
- Identifying and documenting system deficiencies
- Completing electronic inspection reports and related paperwork
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicles
- Communicating professionally with customers and team members
- Participating in company-sponsored training and certification programs

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Ability to learn technical concepts and follow procedures
Preferred Experience
The ideal candidate may come from backgrounds such as:
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Mechanical trades
- Facilities maintenance
- General construction
- Fire protection
- Volunteer firefighting
- Military service
- Commercial building operations
No previous fire sprinkler inspection experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Preferred Certifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Fire service training or certifications
- Any trade-related certifications
Candidates without certifications are encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in commercial, industrial, and residential environments
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent walking, stair climbing, and standing throughout the day
- Travel between customer locations as required
- Ability to work in varying weather and jobsite conditions
