Our LEED Gold certified office is close to the Ballston Metro and in the heart of Arlington, Virginia.  GHT hosts a Seasonal Summer Program which is designed for individuals who have a minimum of one year completed in pursuit of a mechanical engineering degree.  Seasonal Engineers will be assigned to the Base Building, Interiors, or Operations & Energy Services (OES) Studio.

About the Program

Individuals selected for the program will acquire a working knowledge of Revit-based design with in-house training and understanding of all GHT’s standards, details and computer systems for engineering. They will perform assignments requiring application of basic engineering fundamentals and design/draft assignments. All work will be closely directed, supervised, and reviewed by senior designers or engineers with an opportunities to work with a variety of teams on several projects.  Successful candidates frequently are offered future internships and full-time positions.

Candidates are encouraged to take the Engineer in Training exam. They are also encouraged to be active members or attend general meetings of technical societies related to their field of competency (ASHRAE, IES, ASPE, NSPE, etc.).
