ENTERPRISE APPLICATION IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER
The Jobsite IT Administrator is responsible for providing comprehensive, hands-on technology support for one to two large project jobsites, with time divided between assigned locations throughout the workweek. This position serves as the primary on-site IT resource for these projects and is responsible for ensuring employees have reliable access to the hardware, applications, network connectivity, and technology services required to perform their work.
This is a broad technical support role requiring strong skills in desktop administration, application troubleshooting, network troubleshooting, endpoint management, and jobsite technology support. The Jobsite IT Administrator will diagnose and resolve issues across multiple technology areas while coordinating with specialized IT teams and vendors when escalation is required.
The position requires a strong customer-service mindset, technical curiosity, and the ability to independently manage competing priorities across multiple active project locations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Three to five years of experience in desktop administration, technical support, systems support, or a related IT role.
- Strong Windows desktop administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex business application issues.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, VLANs, switching, and routing concepts.
- Experience troubleshooting wired and wireless network connectivity.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise endpoint management and software deployment technologies.
- Experience supporting printers, network peripherals, and other end-user technology.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting technology in construction, engineering, manufacturing, field operations, or other distributed work environments.
- Experience supporting construction and project management applications.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Microsoft endpoint technologies.
- PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
- Experience with enterprise networking equipment, wireless infrastructure, and network troubleshooting tools.
- Experience supporting audiovisual equipment and Microsoft Teams conferencing environments.
- Relevant Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or other industry certifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Jobsite Technology Support:
- Serve as the primary IT point of contact for one to two large project jobsites, dividing time between assigned locations based on project and business needs.
- Develop strong working relationships with project leadership, field personnel, administrative staff, and other jobsite users.
- Maintain a regular onsite presence and proactively identify technology issues that could affect project operations.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, plotters, peripherals, applications, network connectivity, conference rooms, and other jobsite technology.
- Take ownership of technology issues from initial diagnosis through resolution, coordinating with other IT resources or vendors when necessary.
- Assist with technology planning and deployment as jobsites are established, expanded, relocated, and closed.
- Maintain jobsite technology inventory and assist with equipment deployment, replacement, recovery, and lifecycle management.
Desktop & Endpoint Administration:
- Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows laptops, iOS and Android mobile devices, and related peripherals.
- Support device provisioning, configuration, security, patching, and application deployment using enterprise endpoint management tools.
- Troubleshoot operating system, driver, hardware, peripheral, and device performance issues.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Troubleshoot user authentication, permissions, device registration, and access issues involving Microsoft Entra ID and other enterprise systems.
- Support endpoint security technologies and assist with remediating device compliance and security issues.
- Maintain standardized device configurations and assist with hardware refresh and lifecycle initiatives.
Application Support & Troubleshooting:
- Troubleshoot enterprise, departmental, and project-specific applications.
- Diagnose application issues involving installation, configuration, authentication, permissions, performance, integrations, updates, and connectivity.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications and other business productivity platforms.
- Support construction and project-related applications used by field and project teams.
- Work with application owners, vendors, and internal IT teams to identify root causes and resolve complex application issues.
- Troubleshoot application dependencies, including local device configuration, network connectivity, browser settings, authentication, licensing, and security policies.
- Assist users with application configuration and provide guidance on the effective use of supported technology.
- Document recurring application issues, resolutions, workarounds, and escalation procedures.
- Identify patterns in support requests and recommend improvements that reduce recurring incidents.
Network & Connectivity Troubleshooting:
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting for wired, wireless, and internet connectivity issues at assigned jobsites.
- Diagnose network issues using common tools and techniques, including issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, VLANs, routing, and switching.
- Assist with resolving wireless coverage, performance, interference, and connectivity issues throughout jobsite facilities.
- Perform initial troubleshooting of network switches, wireless access points, firewalls, internet circuits, and other network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot connectivity among endpoint devices, printers, plotters, applications, cloud services, and other network resources.
- Determine whether technical issues originate from the endpoint, application, local network, internet connection, or enterprise infrastructure.
- Coordinate with network engineers, internet service providers, and technology vendors to resolve issues requiring escalation.
- Assist with network equipment installations and replacements, cabling coordination, and jobsite infrastructure changes.
Audio Visual & Collaboration Support
- Support conference rooms, project meeting spaces, huddle rooms, and other collaboration environments.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft Teams meetings, conference room systems, displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, and presentation equipment.
- Routinely test meeting spaces to ensure technology is operational and ready for use.
- Assist with technology setup and support for major project meetings, presentations, and other important jobsite events.
Printers, Plotters & Jobsite Technology:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot printers, multifunction devices, scanners, plotters, and other specialized jobsite equipment.
- Troubleshoot printing issues involving drivers, print queues, network connectivity, permissions, and device configuration.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance with equipment vendors when necessary.
- Support other technology specific to construction and project environments, as required.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement:
- Maintain accurate documentation of jobsite technology configurations, network information, equipment, applications, and support procedures.
- Develop knowledge articles and troubleshooting documentation for recurring technical issues.
- Document escalations and resolutions to improve knowledge sharing across the IT organization.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend opportunities for standardization, automation, and process improvement.
- Provide IT leadership with feedback regarding jobsite technology needs, risks, recurring issues, and opportunities.
- Participate in broader IT initiatives involving infrastructure, cybersecurity, endpoint management, application deployment, and workplace technology.

OFFICE AND TRAVEL:
- This position will primarily support one to two large project jobsites.
- The workweek will generally be divided between assigned jobsites, with the schedule adjusted based on project activity, support requirements, major meetings, and business priorities.
- Regular travel between assigned jobsites is required.
- The position requires frequent interaction with project teams in active construction and field environments.
- Periodic travel to corporate offices or other project locations may be required.
- Occasional early-morning, evening, or after-hours support may be necessary for critical incidents, deployments, project milestones, or technology maintenance.
- This role may require lifting, transporting, installing, or relocating computers, monitors, network equipment, printers, audiovisual equipment, and other technology hardware.

Position involves sitting for extended periods of time at the employees’ workstation and during meetings as well as while traveling, either by plane or car. Employee needs to be able to lift 20-50 pounds as frequently as needed to move objects; dexterity to write and manipulate computer keyboard and mouse; ability to hear and speak clearly; and ability to distinguish between colors on graphs and charts.
Occasionally, employee will be required to visit construction jobsites which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures.

In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $63,000 to $75,000, excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you join McGough, your final base salary will be determined by several factors, including geography, location, skills, education, and experience. Furthermore, we place significant value on pay equity among our current team members as part of any final job offer.
Please note that the range provided above reflects the hiring range for this role. Hiring near the top end of this range would be atypical, as we aim to allow room for future salary growth.
