The Inside Construction Manager supports the successful execution of construction projects by managing project administration, scheduling, financial tracking, contractor coordination, reporting, and customer deliverables from an office environment. Working closely with Outside Project Managers, this role serves as the central point of coordination for project documentation, project controls, and stakeholder communications to ensure construction projects progress efficiently and meet company objectives
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reviews contract and estimate with estimator for completeness of take-off, scope, pricing and contract value.
- Coordinates all issues of contract scope with the estimate and resolves any issues and/or discrepancies.
- Partner with Outside Project Managers to manage construction projects from initiation through closeout.
- Generate purchase requisition for purchase of main roof system(s) materials and subcontractors if required.
- Review all new issue drawings and requests for information on pricing and responds in timely fashion.
- Manage change order pricing process and utilize estimating when required.
- Maintain project schedules, milestones, and status reporting.
- Coordinate activities between engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, and customers.
- Monitor project progress and identify schedule risks or delays
- Escalate project issues requiring management attention
- Track project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.
- Review contractor invoices for accuracy and alignment with completed work.
- Process purchase orders and change order requests.
- Maintain project financial records and reporting dashboards.
- Support monthly budget reviews and forecasting activities.
- Coordinate contractor onboarding, compliance requirements, and documentation.
- Monitor contractor deliverables and project commitments.
- Track material orders and delivery schedules.
- Assist in resolving contractor-related administrative issues.
- Provide routine project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings.
- Document meeting notes, action items, and follow-up activities.
- Maintain communication logs and customer records.
- Maintain project files, permits, contracts, and construction records.
- Ensure project documentation is complete and audit ready.
- Track permit status, inspections, and closeout requirements.
- Support compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain project dashboards and performance metrics.
- Generate weekly and monthly project status reports.
- Track key performance indicators including schedule adherence, budget performance, and project completion milestones.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures

- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of construction coordination, project management, telecommunications, utility, or infrastructure experience.
- Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles.
- Experience managing schedules, budgets, and project documentation.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and project tracking software skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Telecommunications, fiber deployment, utility, or OSP construction experience.
- Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects.
- Familiarity with permitting, right-of-way, and utility construction processes.
- PMP, CCM, or related project management certification.
