CS Beatty Construction is accepting applications for a Preventive Maintenance Technician. Applicants must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and possess a current Class A or Class B CDL with hazmat endorsement. Job Summary:
- Performs daily greasing and fueling of all types of construction equipment on various construction job sites
- Performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs on various types of construction equipment as needed; this includes oil and filter changes, component sampling, component flushing and ground engaging tool replacement.
- Completes paperwork regarding all oil changes in a timely manner; this includes oil change checklists and sample bottle labeling
- Turns in timesheets and equipment inspection forms in a timely manner
- Immediately reports any equipment issues discovered during the course of work to the chief mechanic
- Strictly understands and adheres to all required safety standards, rules, and guidelines
- Operates company vehicle according to all posted regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle
- Work independently or on a team in the field
- Reports to shop location at the beginning and end of each shift
Duties/Responsibilities:
Work is typically performed on a construction job site. Some work is performed in a shop. There is exposure to physical risk and weather conditions associated with this position.

Qualifications:
- High School or Equivalent or better in diploma (GED)
- Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat Endorsement
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record
- Experience performing servicing and oil changes on various types of heavy construction equipment
- Ability to operate various types of heavy construction equipment to move on the job site as needed
- General mechanical knowledge of heavy construction equipment
- Excellent work habits, accuracy, attention to detail and quality of work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Time management skills to achieve work results on a deadline
- Ability to work shifts that start as early as 4:00 am or earlier
- Must be able to work overtime as required, including weekends as needed
- Must be able to communicate using smart devices
- Must be friendly, easy to work with and detail orientated
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
