Job Summary
Ready Mixed Concrete is looking for a high performing logistics specialist to join our dispatch team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hard worker, and reliable. This position facilitates the ordering, scheduling and delivery of Ready Mixed Concrete. Abides by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. Reliable attendance required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responds and interacts with customers on the phone and various systems to properly schedule their requested order. When appropriate, promote value added products and services that NEBCO has to offer, and route the customers to the correct NEBCO company for those products and services.
Professionally represents the company and our products to the customer in a manner that is complete, truthful and factual. Occasionally may be required to explain company policies and procedures.
Analyzes/interprets daily schedules to properly fit orders into an ever-changing schedule.
Follows established phone courtesy standards. Uses tact and is polite when dealing with customers and employees; always strives for customer satisfaction. May be required to handle customer concerns/complaints.
Makes outbound phone calls to maintain schedule accuracy.
May be required to perform administrative duties, as needed.
Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and
- one year related experience in customer service, call center, or related environment; or
- an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
Other Qualifications:
- Must have computer literacy and accurate keyboard skills to perform the customer service and systems aspects of the position.
- Previous company product knowledge &/or sales experience is helpful but not required.
- Must have good people skills with an ability to listen, understand and assure complete information is received on all orders.
- Previous experience understanding the requirements of working within an open office environment that is there to service the customer and the employees of the organization.
- Must be flexible regarding work schedule.
- Ability apply basic mathematical knowledge such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division into all units of measures, and ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

- Excellent customer service experience with good phone skills.
- Must be able to produce high quality, accurate work.
- Must be skilled in solving problems with good workable solutions.
- Ability to adapt with constant changes in the workplace.
