We are currently seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join a respected outpatient clinic in Nebraska with a collaborative team environment and an outstanding reputation for patient care. Position Overview

The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients in an outpatient setting to restore function, improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent or minimize long-term physical limitations. The PT collaborates with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to help patients of all ages recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions while achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for patients with orthopedic, neurological, musculoskeletal, and post-surgical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, physician referrals, and patient goals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, and therapeutic modalities.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and healthy lifestyle modifications.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to maximize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries within the EMR system.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to all facility policies, Nebraska licensure requirements, and professional standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current Nebraska Physical Therapist License issued by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date.
• Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) or eligibility as required for Nebraska licensure.
• Previous outpatient orthopedic, sports medicine, or hospital-based experience preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
