Job Summary
We are seeking a Truck Driver - CDL Class A - At Home Every day, Local Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to and from construction sites while ensuring compliance with all safety, traffic, and company regulations. This role plays a critical part in keeping projects running on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks to transport construction materials and equipment
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper securement
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation
- Communicate with supervisors and jobsite personnel
- Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies
- Assist with basic site labor as needed
- Report mechanical issues promptly
Required Qualifications
- CDL Class A Required
-Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of construction safety practices
- Dependable and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction or heavy equipment driving experience
- Familiarity with local routes
Work Environment
Outdoor construction sites with exposure to weather conditions, noise, and heavy equipment.
