Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and governance of the project’s master CPM schedule from preconstruction through closeout.
- Establish scheduling standards, work breakdown structures, milestones, activity coding, logic ties, update procedures, and reporting requirements for the project.
- Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, trade partners, and general contractors to develop detailed, executable schedules that reflect field conditions and project priorities.
- Manage regular schedule updates, progress reviews, and critical-path analyses; communicate material variances, constraints, risks, and recommended corrective actions to project leadership.
- Lead schedule coordination meetings with internal teams, owners, general contractors, and subcontractors to confirm sequencing, milestone commitments, procurement needs, and interface requirements.
- Develop and oversee short-term look-ahead schedules, including activities that support manpower planning, work sequencing, material delivery, commissioning, and turnover milestones.
- Identify schedule risks and opportunities early; develop and monitor recovery plans when project performance falls behind the approved baseline or key milestone dates.
- Review subcontractor and trade-partner schedules for completeness, logic, resource alignment, integration with the master schedule, and compliance with contractual or project requirements.
- Prepare schedule narratives, dashboards, milestone reports, executive summaries, and client-facing updates that clearly communicate project status and forecasted completion.
- Support the documentation and analysis of schedule impacts associated with change orders, scope changes, unforeseen conditions, delays, and potential claims.
- Provide coaching, direction, and technical scheduling support to project team members and scheduling personnel, as applicable.
- Ensure schedule records, update files, supporting documentation, and historical project data are maintained in accordance with company and project requirements.
- Participate in pull-planning, coordination, progress, and project leadership meetings to connect the project schedule with daily field execution.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
