How will you Build Your Future With Us?
Woodruff is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our Ames team. This position helps keep our construction teams equipped and ready by receiving, organizing, maintaining, and distributing tools, equipment and materials.
You'll work as part of the warehouse team to keep inventory organized, prepare materials and equipment for job sites, and help ensure our teams have what they need, when they need it.
What You'll Do
- Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming tools, equipment, and materials.
- Pick, prepare, load, and stage materials and equipment for delivery to job sites.
- Maintain accurate inventory and help track tools, equipment, and materials.
- Keep the warehouse and equipment organized, clean, safe, and ready for use.
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or improperly returned items.
- Work with warehouse team members, drivers, and project teams to support daily operations.
- Follow company safety procedures and assist with other warehouse needs as assigned.
