SUPERINTENDENT - Milling

 

CWR is a growing road construction company. We are seeing an experienced Milling Superintendent for our local operations. 

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee daily milling operations, including crew productivity, manpower allocation, and equipment utilization
  • Supervise and coordinate milling foremen and crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
  • Coordinate with Project Superintendents and other field personnel to schedule work, prioritize assignments, and ensure necessary materials and equipment are available
  • Monitor milling production and ensure work meets project specifications, including required milling depths, widths, and grades
  • Ensure proper equipment mobilization, maintenance, and repairs to minimize downtime
  • Enforce company safety policies, traffic control procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Monitor project progress, address operational issues, and communicate production updates and resource needs to management
  • Ensure required paperwork, production reports, and time records are completed accurately and timely
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of asphalt milling experience, including supervisory or crew leadership experience
  • Experience coordinating milling crews, equipment, and multiple job sites
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong knowledge of milling operations, equipment, and project specifications
  • Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed
  • Ability to type and use keyboards accurately and possess knowledge of database software
  • Able to complete required paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Must be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver’s license
  • Employer conducts drug screening and background check
