We are currently seeking several positions to join our Solar Team in Albany, New York; The Project Manager will be a leader and coach in functional areas of quality and efficiency. This position leads, motivates, and oversees projects by analyzing and implementing business processes to ensure efficiency, maximize production and successful customers and teams.

Responsibilities include:

The Project Manager provides oversight and coordination of the pre-design process and construction, arriving at and managing best practices to meet the goals of our installations, and ensuring proper cost and timely delivery at construction close-out.  

• Provides direction and coordination of all field activities; including going on site regularly to manage field crew and progress
• Interfaces with other project team members and supply chain to facilitate project execution strategy and objectives including schedule updates, changes, and impacts
• Reviews efficiencies of field teams and manages field team leaders to maintain great customer communications and maximize field team cost and effectiveness
• Performs quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
• Reviews and approve plans for sites and final BOM for order from our pre-negotiated suppliers with engineer’s involvement as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of project management experience, within industry or similar preferred
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with customers, colleagues and/or suppliers
• Ability to act as a flexible and innovative team player with a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude and a hands-on approach
• Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
