Hurricane Matthew Fury Friend Hero Program
Benji's supports all those that are working on Hurricane Matthew Cleanup and Flooding Relief in the Grand Strand. We are offering a program to assist these heroes and provide peace of mind for the care of their animals during this work effort :
1. Provide discount on Animal Boarding, Daycare, Bathing and Groom, Walking Assistance to all military, national guard, police, fire, healthcare, teachers as well as trades such as tree care, linesmen, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, etc. Pick up and drop off service as available.
2. Service heroes to offer this program to their clients as an accommodation during Cleanup and Flooding Relief period to reduce time and stress of recovery activities.
3. Offer boarding and daycare services to families with Cleanup and Flooding Relief Hardship for no charge or sponsored donation.
4. Offer service to individuals that report dogs who have been separated from family during Cleanup and Flooding Period. Offer service to families that have lost dogs to assist them in location process.
Volunteers are needed in the following roles:
- Boarding, Daycare and Walking Assistance
- Foster homes for lost pets during clean-up period.
- Pet Foster home for families that need help during clean-up process and cant care for dog.
- Call Center Assistance for hardship assistance applications, processing Cleanup and Flood Relief Hero Program, assistance with donations, and reunited lost dogs with families.
Volunteers will receive training, credit for personal boarding, daycare baths and grooms. First preference will be given when paid positions become available.
