 Position Description:

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining a positive, meaningful relationship with clients and supporting the production team through pro-active communication and teamwork.  Account Managers work in tandem with productions staff to deliver on performance expectations in the areas of client satisfaction and retention, contract and enhancement sales.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Primary client contact for a sizable portfolio of work
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a positive relationship with clients
  • To work in tandem with business development staff to achieve branch sales goals through referral business, team selling
  • To ensure that each account is managed with a long range plan in place by providing assessments of sites detailing suggested improvements and providing quotes and follow up with clients
  • To ensure that each account has a solid communication plan in place and that it is administered successfully
  • Communicate with production staff daily on schedules for work on all jobs and assist in prioritizing work
  • Managing the renewal process with assistance from branch and regional management
  • Delivers on sales performance expectations in the area of client retention, enhancement sales and new contract sales

Skill Requirements:

  • Exceptional pro-active communication with both clients and team
  • Highly organized with great follow up abilities
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to identify and sell landscape enhancements
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Competency in business writing
  • Ability to attend after hours events when necessary (board meetings, networking events)
