Allens Plumbing Inc., We are a 35+ year progressive service company that specializes in Plumbing, Drain Cleaning, Solar Thermal, Trenchless Technology, and Water Purification.

We are looking to hire several people to work with our experienced residential plumbing service technicians and learn the trade. If you are looking to make a change from a job getting by day to day and you want a career, then this might be the right direction for you. This position will typically train for 4-12 months as a paid apprentice then become a service technician, running your own truck, controlling your own pay, and creating your new career.

Responsibilties:

The essential function of the Service Technician Assistant is to Assistant is to learn the trade through hands on experience and classroom instruction. This position will assist the Lead Service Technician in all aspects of their work. Including assisting on service calls in customer’s homes, learning customer service training to educate and assist customers in choosing service, products and finance options. 

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • No technical experience necessary, not only will we train you, but we will have great support team to fill any gaps!
  • This individual must be willing to pursue, develop and participate in continuing education.
  • You need amazing communication skills.
  • Be customer oriented - fixing a customer is usually harder than fixing the plumbing.
  • Be able to learn and follow a proven sales process - we've got the recipe for a successful service experience and we're always improving it.
  • Self-Motivated - this is really important because we'll give you the opportunities and tools you need but no one will babysit you.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Education :

  • A high school diploma or equivalent- Required
