SpawGlass, a Texas-based commercial and civil contractor, has just created a position on the team as a Civil Construction Heavy Equipment Operator for our Houston division.

Reporting directly to the General Superintendent, your position will have the following components:
- Operate heavy equipment to include front end loaders, dozers and graders, in a safe and effective manner
- Prior to digging, ensure safety precautions have been taken to prevent damage to utility lines
- Follow signal directions while safely operating equipment
- Adhere to all equipment maintenance requirements
- Effectively communicate with team members onsite to ensure appropriate task is performed
- Promote, execute and adhere to SpawGlass’ safety culture
This is a great opportunity for a heavy equipment operator with 5+ years of experience in civil construction.
In this role, you will be subject to loud noise, inside and outside environmental conditions, occasional heavy lifting up to 60lbs with assistance, extended/unusual work shifts, climbing, kneeling, reaching above shoulder height, grasping, standing and balancing. Above all, you must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
