Fire Protection Monitoring, Inspections, & Discrepancy Repair Sales
This position is responsible for, but not limited to the sales of new Sprinkler and Fire Alarm monitoring, inspection agreements, and providing proposals to both new and existing customers for the repair of any system discrepancies found while performing our fire protection inspections.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish contact with prospective and qualified potential customers of monitoring and inspection agreements by scheduling sales calls with new customers, following up on sales leads, and offering exiting customers new services.
- Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog to support the established sales plan
- Maintain existing database and develop and maintain new customer relationship to ensure growth
- Support other WSFP Teams in their initiatives as they relate to your territory
- Complete understanding of all Company sales pricing worksheets and Company contract terms
- Create and conduct effective proposal presentations, identifying the prospect’s fire and life safety issues, the effects of the problems and solutions offered
Job Qualifications
• Two plus years proven sales experience;
• Knowledge of life safety and NFPA codes is preferred;
• Strong prospecting and cold calling skills
• Proven ability to close sales and achieve sales quotas;
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, solid presentation skills and closing techniques;
• Familiarity with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word software is highly recommended;
• Travel is required in the territory and possibly within the state;
• Valid Driver’s License; in accordance with Company policy;
• Willing to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
