About the position:

 

Encon is now hiring an Assertive Hunter and Sales Professional to lead the sales efforts as a Maintenance Sales Representative…are you ready to roll up your sleeves and partner with Connecticut’s leading Energy and HVAC Services Company? We’re looking for a savvy and confident business developer with B2B sales experience to help grow our Commercial Maintenance Contract Base.  

We will assign you to a designated territory and provide comprehensive on the job training, which will include industry specifics that will be helpful in building customer relationships.  Previous knowledge in building maintenance would be beneficial, but is not necessary for success in this role. With our high earning potential commission structure, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to use your business development skills to earn significant income while building a new sales territory.

Qualifications preferred for job candidates:

As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you must have ambition, a drive to succeed, with excellent networking and communication skills. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of the business environment and geography of Connecticut areas. Must have solid understanding of sales process, sales planning, territory development, and pipeline management to compliment strong direct selling competencies.

  • 3 or more years of experience with business to business sales (with sales to all levels of management)
  • Experience and proven territory development skills
  • High energy level, strong work ethic, can do attitude, and highly effective interpersonal style.
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn the technical aspects of the job
  • Proficient working with various software including Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, social networking sites, and web based programs
  • Industry experience preferred, but not necessary – (Experience and/or knowledge in facilities, HVAC, or energy / sustainability services are a plus, but not required)
  • Reliable Transportation and a Valid Driver’s license
