FabriTec Structures LLC, a world leader in the design, manufacture and construction of tensile membrane structures, is seeking Steel Construction Erectors / Installers to join our traveling installation crews. This position reports to the Construction Manager at the Corporate Office in Dallas, Texas with frequent domestic travel (90%).

Position Summary:

This position involves installing (erecting) large steel and tension membrane structures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow instruction of supervisors to complete project specific scopes such as steel erection, tension membrane installation, structural cable installation, reinforced concrete foundations, high performance coatings, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform the installation functions required on the project such as rigging, bolt up, welding, and equipment operation.
  • Maintain good working relationships with all installation team members.
  • Maintain a professional image to all clients and their representatives.
  • Perform daily tasks with a keen eye for sound safety practices.

 

General requirements and preferred skill set:

  • Must be available to travel 90% of the time to locations across the U.S.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings a plus.
  • General knowledge of a construction site and safety
  • General knowledge of tools and tensioning bolts
  • Experience driving a Reach Rough Terrain Forklift is helpful.
  • Experience in Aerial Equipment (boom lifts/scissor lifts) is helpful
  • Experience in rigging is a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
