Job Summary:

Are you in search of part-time or supplemental employment? If so, we have just the position for you! Our well respected client is in search of a Travel Counselor Substitute in Underwood, IA. Part-time hours will vary depending on coverage needs. This person will be working in the area's Welcome Center and pay is $11.88/hour.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome travelers to the state by providing informational materials on attractions and events in Iowa
  • Encourage visitors to stay and tour Iowa
  • Distribute state publications and travel related brochures
  • Research travel information and become familiar with brochures, materials and traveliowa.com
  • Maintain guest book signatures
 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Iowa
  • Internet capabilities
  • Ability to work in an unsupervised environment
  • Outstanding representative of the state of Iowa
