Mechanical Foreman

Job Summary

Candidate must be well rounded and have a strong background in all Mechanical Systems.  Candidate must be able to manage large projects ranging $5 – $20 million dollars.  Performing duties and responsibilities to include, but not limited to, managing labor, sub-contractors, and project according to plans and specifications.  Candidate must be able to communicate and coordinate effectively with all JJM employees, General Contractor, Owner, Owner Reps, Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, Trades, Inspectors, and Vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Mechanical Systems
  • Journeyman Gas Fitting, and/or HVAC license preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of all codes
  • Detailed resume with references within the industry
  • Portfolio or History of previous projects
  • Must be familiar with all aspects of Mechanical Systems from the ground through the roof
  • Must be computer literate and tech savvy
  • Experience with the process of rigging, installing, start-up, and commissioning cooling towers, chillers, boilers, large roof top equipment
  • Experience with hydronic and refrigeration piping processes
  • Experience with VRF systems
