Job Requirements
- 10 years’ experience in the Pipe-fitting and/or Plumbing trade
- Extensive experience in Estimating
- Experience in Subcontractor Coordination
- Experience in writing Scope of Work
- Experience in Purchase Orders
- Experience reading blueprints
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Project Software required
- Can multitask in a fast paced, team environment
- AutoCad experience is a PLUS
- Mechanical Contractor or Plumbers license is a PLUS
- Knowledge of plumbing and mechanical code requirements
- Strong knowledge of all types of piping systems
Job Responsibilities
- Assign daily work tickets and coordinate crews based on job location, duration, and workforce skill set
- Communicate with Project Managers, Estimators, and Sales Representatives to understand job scope, timing, and goals to relay to field crews
- Verify and approve information on job tickets to ensure accuracy of time, materials, and equipment used
- Provide technical assistance for field workers and support Purchasers
- Coordinate equipment requirements for all jobs (Man lifts, fork trucks, welders, trailers, etc.)
- Forecast workload and collaborate with other departments to keep all employees scheduled at all times
- Develop job scope
- Accurately estimate labor and material cost for jobs of all sizes
