Position Summary:
The consultant will develop customer relationships on behalf of Michael &; Son
Services, as well as determine sales opportunities and closing contracts. The
consultant is involved in the product promotion and business development process.
This person accomplishes sales goals and profitability for the company.
Essential Job Functions:
● Thoroughly develops an understanding of customer needs, wants and desires in
replacements of HVAC systems and indoor air quality
● Recommends products for customers and provides information to help the
customer determine solutions
● Consistently follows the pricing structure established by the Company achieving
sales targets and following established sales process and procedures
● Participates in training for new and existing product lines
● Willingly adheres to Company policy/procedure
● Be able to drive a Company vehicle
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
● Must have positive attitude with an emphasis on taking initiative and ownership
of the sales process
● The consultant needs to be detail-oriented, enthusiastic, articulate, and possess
a self-starter approach
● HVAC experience or in-home sales is a plus
● Available when customers need us
● Experience in consultative selling and interpreting customer needs, as well as
applying correct solutions and resolving complications while showing value
● Service-focused individual able to establish value with customers
