Jamar is seeking qualified candidates for a Service Account Representative role. This position will focus on development of new and existing regional accounts and is responsible for promoting and selling Jamar offerings within an assigned territory. The selected candidate will be mentored to further develop the candidates’ skills and industry knowledge.

 

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of and minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical, HVAC or building automation systems
  • Commitment to customer service
  • Well-developed communications skills, oral, written and presentation
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to self-initiate
  • Strong organization and planning skills to provide market foresight
  • Positive attitude, with a demonstrated enthusiasm and determination to develop business
  • Ability to quickly assimilate technical concepts and information
  • Proficiency with computers tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proven relationship-building skills and a passion for working as a member of a team
  • Continual development and maintenance of the CRM, project and opportunity tracking, sales pipeline systems and reporting
  • Valid state driver's license. Reliable transportation and ability to travel within territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely manage all operations in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Collect business intelligence, identify and target the most attractive opportunities
  • Establish relationships with new clients and foster relationships with existing clients 
  • Continual participation in the improvement of company processes
  • Follow-up on all outstanding proposals and solicit quantitative and qualitative feedback on all proposals
  • Be part of a Business Resource Sales Organization
  • Gather information about job leads, qualify the opportunity and identify key personnel for initial interaction.
