Job Title: Estimator-Commercial Building Division
Job Responsibilities: Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and solid background in building sciences, Construction Science Management, as well as proven related work experience within the construction industry. 3 years experience in a similar role preferred. Ability to create and work with plans and specifications. Strong working knowledge regarding construction methods, materials and regulations. Familiarity with construction management software for job costing, scheduling and estimating. Ability to work productively under pressure and with multiple personalities.
