Job Summary:

The Child Care Nurse Consultant will provide health and safety consultation, training, and technical assistance to childcare providers. Also, this position will train Head Start (HS) staff on health related topics, complete child screenings and assessments, provide guidance on health issues and medical care plans, review child health information, and provide information and education to Head Start families.

Education and/or Experience:

1. Registered Nurse - licensed in the state of Iowa, BSN preferred

2. Expertise in community health, maternal and child health

Hours and Wage:

30 hours per week (may require some evening and/or weekend hours); $23.71/hour
