Bring medical and industrial applications to life!

As a Sales Engineer within the Custom Mechanical Components business unit at Precipart, you will be working on multiple medical and industrial technology projects at one time; anything from a precision machined hydraulic valve, to a 3D printed component for robotic surgery. You’ll enjoy accessibility to senior management and camaraderie with your co-workers. You should be confident identifying, sourcing and developing sales opportunities while cultivating long-term relationships. You will have an aptitude for reviewing drawings and comfort in speaking with customers about their technical requirements. You will frequently engage with our manufacturing team about specific production processes and with the Quality department about inspection methods and procedures.

Daily collaboration with Engineering and Marketing should be expected. You will help them answer questions such as “What is the best way to manufacture this part?” or “Why are these dimensions and tolerances critical to this application?” Of course you might not have all the answers and that’s okay; you will work very closely with our Engineering Solutions Team to solve even the most complex technical challenges to the benefit of the customer. This position with Precipart gives you the unique opportunity to follow a precision part from concept to quoting and through the full product life cycle; there’s something so satisfying about watching all your hard work come to life!
