We're looking for a highly motivated and driven automation technician to join our Technology Group!

At MMC, our Technology Group focuses on providing integrated automation solutions custom-made specifically for our customer's applications. This team provides building managers and owners with the convenience of web-based controls— allowing optimal building performance while minimizing operating expenses.

ESSENTIAL TASKS OF AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN:

  1. Estimate
    1. Integrated Automation Estimating Proficiency; participate per GM’s direction
    2. Contribute to improvement of the Estimating Tool
    3. Conceptual Estimating
    4. Budgeting
    5. Assist APM’s in developing skills, estimating change orders, etc.
    6. Key Responsibility with Estimates for Automation Technician is to participate in BOM suggestion and technology layout and execute upon labor hours and installation within the agreed upon amounts of the estimate

    1. Deploy and maintain programming templates and standards as developed by Technical Lead
    2. Deploy and maintain engineering templates and standards as developed by Technical Lead
    3. Foreman Relationships
    4. Crew Relationships
    5. Assist PM in scheduling of project needs across all open work
    6. Work with PM to maintain “right sized” labor force to execute work
    7. Execute on engineering and programming tasks to keep labor within budget
    8. Execute upon PM directed project needs and customer expectations
    9. Provide Leadership

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years experience in building automation required
  • 2+years experience in temperature controls required
  • 2+ years experience in Tridium, Honeywell, Niagra, Distech, and Johnson controls applications is preferred.
