Job Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in General Contracting Building Division Management
- Experience as a working Foreman
- Experience in blueprint reading
- Extensive estimating experience is preferred
- Ability to analyze scope of work and quote quickly while providing the proper information to department team members
- Capable of monitoring job progression from estimation stage through completion
- Experience in evaluating subcontractor quotes
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Project Management Software
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team environment
- AutoCAD experience is a plus
Job Responsibilities
- Provide pertinent information to the Foremen about jobs, timing, customer expectations, and answer questions
- Offer technical support with development of plans to complete scope of work in a safe and efficient manner
- Communicate job progress through written summaries to the sales team and crew
- Deliver accurate and timely quotes
- Quickly identify and request more information as needed to bid a job
- Offer options to the sales team regarding quotes
- Capture new business (leads/sales) by identifying additional needs of the customer and communicating to sales team for quoting
- Complete applicable permits for department work
- Communicate with Project Managers, Operations, and Sales Representatives to understand job scope, timing, and goals to relay to field crews
- Provide technical assistance for field workers and support Purchasers
