Internship Goals

An internship at Beckenhauer Construction Inc. is truly an investment in our industry as it should add depth to a student’s knowledge of the construction industry prior to the start of their career in our business.

 Our organizations hope is to help individuals develop essential skills that they would use in their chosen field of “Construction Management”, provide a variety of experience during the internship and to help our organization identify potential candidates for permanent hire. Additionally, we expect that interns may bring new ideas to our organization such as the latest technology and strategies they have learned of through their recent educational experience.

 Preference will be given to applicants seeking internships that are currently enrolled in a program seeking a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and are in the summer after their sophomore or junior years and are maintaining a high level of academic excellence.

 A typical Internship at Beckenhauer Construction Inc. will encompass multiple work assignments both in the office as well as on a project site. These work assignments will provide them a sampling of work duties and responsibilities for each of the positions listed above, as well as a very limited amount of “hands on” work with experienced craftsmen.
