Corporate Fire Alarm/Special Hazards Manager

Energetic, motivated person needed for supervision of company Fire Alarm divisions.  Has a good work ethic and strives for top performance.  Candidate must possess excellent communication skills with a professional attitude and appearance.  Will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws.  Promote company vision and values while utilizing the company operating code.  Develop employee skills while instilling a positive attitude that promotes performance ownership.  Set direction, align resources, motivate and inspire staff to perform to the best of their ability.  The job location can be based in any of our SE locations but the corporate office in Madison, AL is preferred.  

Looking for:

  • Management experience
  • NICET certified in Fire Alarm and/or Special Hazards
  • 4 year college degree preferred
  • Sales and project management experience

Must Have:

  • Experience in all aspects of fire alarm and special hazards projects
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NFPA, NEC, and local applicable codes
  • Valid driver's license and insurance
  • Ability to pass drug test/background check
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel

Job Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of related work experience required
  • Certification or degree preferred
  • NICET III+ in Fire Alarm and/or Special Hazards preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, professional appearance, work ethic
  • Computer skills
  • Highly organized with focus on goals

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide fire alarm/special hazards support for all of the company district offices throughout the Southeast region
  • Help districts increase profitability and quality of work by utilizing monthly district financial reports
  • Monitor performance of company technicians for quality of service, installation and inspections
  • Monitor company search engine optimization and provide input for the annual website refresh
  • Assist fire alarm superintendents as needed
  • Assist fire alarm salesman with job proposals
  • Provide new training opportunities to fire alarm/special hazards personnel
  • Monitor any license requirements for alarm/special hazards personnel as needed by state
