Frank Beverage Group in Middleton, WI is now hiring a Third Shift Transfer Driver. The Transfer Driver is responsible for the safe transfer of product from the main Frank Beer warehouse in Middleton to satellite warehouses in Beloit and Fennimore.

Schedule:

Monday- Thursday, 5:00pm until 3:30am (end times will vary due to seasonality)

Compensation:

$20.00- 25.00/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately locating and picking beer and liquor products for orders
  • Building correct pallet orders with picked beer products
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or conveyor rollers
  • Use voice picking program to ensure speed and accuracy when picking beer products
  • Drive riding pallet jacks and forklifts consistently throughout the night

Skills and Abilities:

  • Verify and account for all pallets in preparation for transfer
  • Load transfer trailer at Middleton warehouse
  • Safely transporting product to satellite warehouses
  • Unload trailer at Beloit and Fennimore warehouses and stage pallets correctly
  • Ability to follow instructions and work with light supervision
  • Operate forklift
  • Operate shrink-wrap machines
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D) required
  • Class-A CDL required
  • Valid Federal Medical Card is required
  • Must have experience in driving a tractor/trailer
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents written in English such as pick documents, safety rules and procedure manuals
  • A self-motivator, attentive to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Must have good oral communication skills
  • Exhibit self-motivation, and self-discipline

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 40 pounds repetitively; 160 pound occasionally
  • Use arms, wrists, hands, grasp, reach
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time while driving
  • Ability to operate a power/hand pallet jack
