The Ideal Candidate will have:
- BA Degree
- Minimum of 10 years Litigation Paralegal experience
- Experience in Personal Injury, Workers Comp, Insurance Claims, Medical Summaries,
- Strong legal terminology knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent and Professional communication skills
- Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Functions of the Role:
- Provide legal and administrative support and assistance to the legal team, business units and General Counsel.
- Support legal functions including corporate governance, corporate secretary functions, compensation and benefits, human resources and operations and finance.
- Assist business with preparing and reviewing forms and routine contracts.
- Ensure compliance while helping the organization optimize opportunities, minimize risk and maintain good communication and documentation practices.
- Accurately perform and manage clerical and administrative functions, including: expense reports, scheduling appointments, answering phones, filing and document production.
- Prepare responses to subpoenas
- Review all QDRO's and administer through the benefits department.
- Provide corporate development, contract litigation support and assistance with due diligence, investigations and organizations projects.
- Serve as back-up to others on the team
Salary Range: $70,000-$80,00
Health Insurance: 100% Single coverage paid for by company
