Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Food Reservoir warehouse facility, ensuring all warehouse operations are completed in a precise, cost-effective, safe and efficient manner in alignment with Feeding America, AIB International, Iowa Public Health, and HACAP specifications and requirements. This hands-on position will oversee and coordinate activities in the receiving and distribution of warehouse products, directly supervising warehouse staff. The Warehouse Operations Manager will also manage the pick-up of food donations and delivery of food orders by Food Reservoir drivers, including transporting product themselves, as needed, using Food Reservoir vehicles. 

 

Education and/or Experience:

  1. Related Bachelor Degree with one year of experience OR related Associates Degree with three years of experience OR High School Diploma with five years of related experience, preferably in food warehousing.
  2. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  3. Ability to work with numbers and all areas of inventory controls.
  4. Computer experience related to ordering and inventory systems, tracking orders, etc.
  5. Work experience that demonstrates the ability to follow and communicate instructions as well as the ability to solve practical problems with flexibility.
  6. Management/supervisory experience.
  7. Work experience that demonstrates excellent customer service skills and paperwork organization/management.
  8. Experience operating a forklift and electric pallet jack preferred.
  9. Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.

Hours and Wage:

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; $24.24/hour
