Production Cutting Services, Inc., founded in 1985, has provided metal component parts and fabrication services to large equipment manufacturers, metal distribution centers and one of a kind part.

We are a non-union manufacturer and have grown dramatically due to our strong commitment to excellence, reflected in advancements in equipment, facilities, employee knowledge, and management systems. 

The Human Resources Administrator will manage employee-related documentation including, but not limited to, personal employee information, state, and federal withholding information benefits information, payroll deduction authorizations, earnings records, and training records.  This person also has the authority to identify and record a problem or noncompliance relating to the quality system and to discontinue a process when a noncompliance is identified. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.

Duties:

  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  • Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Conducts new hire training and processes new hire documentation
  • Coordinates company training including, but not limited to, safety, sexual harassment and first responder.
  • Keep records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Manage attendance tracking
  • Manages payroll tax deposits and reporting as well as annual payroll reporting
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs and supports our employees while conforming to labor laws
  • Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
  • Manage all leave, workers compensation, and commercial insurance documentation
  • Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  • Addresses employee relations concerns & questions.
  • Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
  • Conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.
  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Electronically post announcements including Birthdays/Anniversaries.
  • Updating and Managing human resources forms and documents.
  • Backup & Assist other departments.
  • Other tasks within the scope of the business.
  • Occasional Travel to our Waterman, IL facility 

Education /Experience:

  • 2 -5 years HR experience in the last 5 years
  • Minimum 2-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal and electronic communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
