ADF International in Great Falls, Montana is currently hiring for a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) for their steel fabrication plant. Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a specialization in the following: welding Metallurgy, welding inspector W178.2, CWI, ONGC, or ASNT Level 2
Night Shift: Monday through Thursday 4:30pm - 3:00am
Compensation: $27-29 per hour
Key Technical skills/abilities:
• Comply with safety rules
• Follow corporate quality procedures, work instructions or fabrication standards
• Non-Dimensional Testing experience preferred
• General computer skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with production foreman and 3rd party inspectors
Duties Summary:
• Inspection of welded joint preparation (as needed)
• Dimensional inspection (as needed)
• Checking and evaluation welds in accordance with a specific procedure
• Act as the production foreman’s reference person
• Perform visual inspection; insure welds are per detail drawings, codes, and specification
• Writing inspection reports
• Updating visual inspection progress in the system
• Ensuring that non-conformities are processed
• Interpretation of specifications and standards applicable to contracts
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading
• Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1, D1.5 and CWB w59-13
• Must be able to perform physical shop work

ADF will match 50% of non-union employee’s contribution up to a max of 5%. ADF contributes .50 per hour worked for union employees to the National Shopmen Pension Fund starting at 960 hours. These funds are used to provide pension benefits for eligible employees.
