Key Technical Skills/Abilities:
o Provide oversight and coordinate logistics for the technical staff (detailers and engineers) assigned to the project
o Comply with the Corporation’s Quality Management System and Quality Control and Quality Assurance (QC/QA) Program
o Know and follow Corporate policies and procedures, work instructions and fabrication standards
o Know and follow safe work practices

o Ensure that the project runs smoothly, that it is executed within schedule and kept within budget


Duties Summary:
o Reports to the General Manager
o Responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a project (from the project’s kick-off meeting to the final delivery and archiving of all documentation pertaining to the said project)
o Responsible for carrying out a project in accordance with established cost, time and scope.
o Responsible for preparing a detailed project schedule in accordance with the Client’s project schedule and in concert with the production department
o Responsible for estimating and pricing all contractual changes in concert with the Corporation’s Sales and Estimating Department
o Responsible for managing and coordinating all client, subcontractors, site and production department’s requirements
o Responsible for coordinating, following-up and keeping records of all requests for information (RFI). Responsible for promptly informing all the concerned departments upon approval
o Responsible for establishing, coordinating and closely following up fabrication dates, sequences, and divisions in concert with the production department, and in accordance with the Client’s project schedule
o Responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating delivery dates and sequences with the client, site staff, and Shipping Department
o Responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating procurement — and receiving — of material (steel) with the ADF Procurement Department, which prepares the Advance Bill of Material (ABM list) based on the project’s requirements and schedule
o Responsible for planning, coordinating and following-up fabrication work that needs to be outsourced with the [Subcontracting Manager]
o In accordance with Corporation’s quality management system, responsible for performing a quality assessment of the subcontractor’s facilities prior to the start of the work, in concert with [QA\QC Manager]
o Responsible for regularly visiting the subcontractor’s plant during fabrication to ensure compliance with ADF’s quality requirements and policies, and to track the progress of the work
o Responsible for preparing and coordinating monthly billing to client and following-up progressive payment requests
o Responsible for traveling to the project’s construction site to meet/discuss with site staff and client
o Responsible for preparing the General and specific instruction to detailers
o Responsible for monitoring the progress of the preparation of the Shop and Erection drawings with the detailers
o Responsible for maintaining the qualification files and evaluate the detailer performance on a periodic basis.
o Responsible for preparing the Fabrication instructions for production.
o Responsible for any other related duties, as required
