MAJOR GOALS AND PURPOSE
The Laborer will be responsible for ensuring timely and successful completion of a variety of construction projects.
ESSENTIAL ACTIVITIES
- Maintain a clean jobsite; pick up tools and equipment as directed
- Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work area as directed
- May assist with controlling traffic
- Load and unload trucks
- Set-up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures
- Lifts, carriers and holds building materials and supplies
- Adheres to all corporate safety guidelines
- Other duties as assigned

PREREQUISITES (i.e., Education, Experience)
- High school diploma
- Member of Laborers Union
- Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
- OSHA 10 hour card
- Understanding of safety, quality, and production
- Experience with grade checking and working around heavy equipment
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities in accordance with work schedule.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL EFFORT
- Worker must be able to stand and walk for long periods; use arms and hands to reach for handle and manipulate objects.
- Lift and carry materials weighing 50 pounds.
- Climb up and down ladders, scaffolding, and other objects.
- Carry tools and equipment, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, dig, see and hear.
