Summary
The Territory Manager is responsible to achieve annual sales/profit goals thru fulfilling customer needs by efficient management of their assigned territory. They are required to prospect for, cultivate and call-on assigned accounts, as well as identify influencers and oversee these relationships for the betterment of market share and profit. They will exceed customer expectations and uphold the ideals and standards of Reinders.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and qualifying prospective customers
- Obtaining and Communicating full–line product knowledge and benefits
- Developing and selling solutions based on Reinders products and services to prospective and current customers thru the analysis of customer needs
- Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
- Building and maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales and customer satisfaction
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer information, needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Utilizing company literature and available training resources to stay up to date on product features
- Participating in seminars, trade shows, and work-related events
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a sales representative
- Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness and continuous improvement through feedback
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable vehicle
