Position Summary
Garney Construction has an immediate opening for a MARKETING COORDINATOR. We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our growing corporate marketing team. This is a full-time, salaried position with full benefits and participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, write, and produce statements of qualification, proposals, and presentations for municipal, industrial, and federal clients
- Update project information, prepare reports, and develop resumes using the Cosential project history database
- Assist in planning East events, exhibits, and conferences as needed
- Assist with maintaining company website
- Assist Regional Vice Presidents and Business Development Managers with administrative duties
Qualifications & Characteristics
- Minimum 1-5 years of related experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry
- Federal government proposal experience is preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, strategic communications, journalism, or similar degree preferred
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with CRM systems, specifically Cosential, is preferred
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
- Individual must be able to think creatively, have excellent judgment, and work accurately and efficiently with minimal guidance
- Position is deadline intensive and requires acute attention to detail
- Some weekend and evening work may be required prior to critical deadlines
