Position Summary

Garney Construction has an immediate opening for a MARKETING COORDINATOR. We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our growing corporate marketing team. This is a full-time, salaried position with full benefits and participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, write, and produce statements of qualification, proposals, and presentations for municipal, industrial, and federal clients
  • Update project information, prepare reports, and develop resumes using the Cosential project history database
  • Assist in planning East events, exhibits, and conferences as needed
  • Assist with maintaining company website
  • Assist Regional Vice Presidents and Business Development Managers with administrative duties

Qualifications & Characteristics

  • Minimum 1-5 years of related experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry
  • Federal government proposal experience is preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, strategic communications, journalism, or similar degree preferred
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, specifically Cosential, is preferred
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Individual must be able to think creatively, have excellent judgment, and work accurately and efficiently with minimal guidance
  • Position is deadline intensive and requires acute attention to detail
  • Some weekend and evening work may be required prior to critical deadlines
