MMC is looking for a Fabrication Shop Administrative Support person to join our growing team! This is a hybrid position, combining tasks for administrative support of our Fabrication Trades, as well as MMC’s Warehouse/Tooling group.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Administrative tasks, to support our Fabrication trade shops (Tin, Pipe and Plumbing):
    • Order Entry Logging & confirmations
    • Shipping Confirmations
    • Invoice capture
    • Time Entry
    • Procurement / Raw Materials Releases
    • Sub-contract Vendor Delivery & order management
    • General office administrative support, as needed, up and above the previously mentioned tasks

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Overall support of the Tooling/Warehouse Department, which may include, but is not limited to:
    • Pulling tool and consumables orders placed by Field employees
    • Putting tool orders away, per Tooling Group protocol
    • Assisting Field Foreman with tool and hardware needs (walk-in orders)
    • Assisting with loading and unloading of company trucks, and courier trucks, as needed
    • Assisting with receipt of freight and incoming packages/mail as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Previous fabrication shop experience is preferred 
  • Proficiency with tasks surrounding fabrication procurement, admin support, and order logging
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook mostly)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high intensity environment with critical fulfillment deadlines
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to be flexible as plans shift during the workday
  • Meticulous attention to details
