The underground Utilities Department for Joseph J. Magnolia has openings for individuals looking to get into the construction field. This department focuses on civil underground works, building out piping and sewers need to provide water to commercial buildings. Job Description:
- Assist tradesmen with daily tasks related to underground utility work
- On-site clean up and demo
- Loading and unloading of deliveries and materials
- Follow directions of foreman and tradesmen
- Continuous digging of ditches
- Flagging
- Confined Space work
Job Requirements:
- Commitment to safety at all times
- Reliable transportation
- Have a "want to learn" attitude
- Reliable attendance
- Follow directions and attention to detail
- Ability to pass Flagger written test (we provide training)
Required Education:
- High School or Equivalent
Required Experience:
- 2 years construction (preferred)
