 Position Description:

This position is responsible for the development and generation of new business opportunities and income for their assigned markets. They are responsible for initiating and growing business relationships with potential and current clientele. This position must work together with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Estimator, Marketing and Sales Assistant as well as the production staff to ensure that all aspects of the sales process are followed and that sales goals are met.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Develop Sales plan with Branch Manager for each assigned territory to be updated biweekly with report submittal
  • Pro-actively canvas markets to seek out new business opportunities and fully build out CRM with all projects per market
  • Provide updates of accurate and up to date contract bid, pending, and verbal opportunities biweekly with Sales Manager
  • Update Sales Activity Calendar weekly
  • Input thorough and updated contract and client info into CRM
  • Work with Sales team and follow the JRGM Sales process at all times
  • Follow debriefing guidelines for all sales opportunities
  • Attend networking and marketing functions on a regular basis
  • Attend production staff meetings regularly to engage staff in sales cycle and provide updates to goals
  • Follow up with new clients at intervals outlined in communication plans
  • Assist production teams on renewals on specific accounts
  • To work with enhancement managers on front end sales process to maximize enhancement pipeline.

  • High level of professionalism, responsibility and accountability for all activities
  • Highly organized with great follow up abilities
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify and sell contract and enhancement opportunities
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Competency in business writing
  • Ability to attend after hours events when necessary (board meetings, networking events)
  • Be able to operate under pressure and meet deadlines
