Mix, package, and ship Portland based packaged mixes in a high-speed manufacturing facility. Work with a production team to ensure quality and productivity goals are met or exceeded.

Job Summary

  • Operate baggers producing concrete and mortar mixes.
  • Set up bagging/batching equipment for production runs.
  • Clean out equipment between batches if needed to prevent contamination.
  • Operate palletizer machinery and set date codes for production runs.
  • Operate front-end loader filling aggregate hopper and other assigned duties.
  • Operate forklifts in production process and load trucks for shipment.
  • Monitor and adjust kiln type dryer equipment to accommodate production runs.
  • Fill out production reports, accurately recording downtime and reason codes.
  • Use computer to generate accurate shipping documents for customers.
  • General plant duties as assigned by production supervisor or management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • Must have forklift or light industrial machinery experience.
  • Ability to run computer for production runs and delivery tickets.
  • Be self-motivated with adaptability to a fast-paced manufacturing environment with demanding standards for quality and productivity.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to all company safety procedures and recommendations.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to frequently lift 60 lbs (pallets).
  • Must be able to lift and stack bags weighing up to 80 lbs frequently..
  • Some jobs are repetitive in nature.
  • Multiple tasks require hand stacking of pallets / ground level to above waist.
