Project Estimator

ADF International in Great Falls, MT seeks to hire an organized, detail orientated and experienced Project Estimator.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Construction Engineering or other relevant education
  • Minimum 3 years in project management, engineering, and/or estimating in structural steel, construction or other similar industries
  • Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.

Hours:

Office Shift:  Monday-Thursday 7:00 am-4:30 pm, Friday 7:00 am-12:00 pm

Key Technical Skills/Abilities:

  • Scope determination and understanding RFQ requirements
  • Comprehension of drawings and specifications; material take-offs
  • Understanding of material pricing and man-hours analysis
  • Perform conceptual estimates at times when detailed design information is not yet available
  • Solicit pricing from material vendors and subcontractors
  • Coordinate with other team members to develop overall estimate on larger projects
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements

Duties Summary:

  • Report to Estimating Manager
  • Provide assistance to project managers
  • Scope letter and prepare bid
  • Provide labor estimation and review
  • Work with subcontractors for pricing and coordination of installation, engineering, and detailing
  • Maintain excellent customer service relations
  • Price bids
  • Submit bids
