WSB’s GIS Group has been taking on increasingly complex and innovative GIS projects. We have an immediate need for a Geospatial Project Manager/Business Analyst to bring creative and technical solutions to our clients. This position can be located in any WSB office.
A Small-Scale View of Your Role: As a Geospatial Project Manager/Business Analyst, you will work closely with internal and external clients to create GIS solutions. The Project Manager/Business Analyst will:
• Work with clients to define, understand, and analyze business requirements and develop functional/technical specifications
• Work with the development team to design and deliver GIS solutions using the entire ArcGIS platform
• Build GIS solutions using the ArcGIS platform
• Manage a variety of projects including agile development projects
You will also work with end users, create mapping products, and perform complex GIS analyses using the ArcGIS Platform. While project oriented, you will be required to understand WSB’s core business and be able to see how GIS fits into our Information and Technology strategy.
Your Attributes: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, or Geography and three years of applicable experience is required. Our preferred candidate will have at least seven years of applicable experience. Additional requirements include a thorough working knowledge of the ArcGIS platform, strong analytical and quantitative skills, the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technology experts, and knowledge of the software development life cycle. Excellent technical skills in SQL, MS Excel, JIRA, MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, and MS Project, Smartsheet, or Primavera P6 are also required. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required as well as strong project management skills, collaboration and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Asset Management Systems, SAP, GPS, and drone technology is preferred.
